Nintendo Switch Pro

Nintendo Switch Pro
It looks like all rumors point towards a Nintendo Switch Pro being launched! My best guess is later this year, lining up with the 2021 holiday season.

It reportedly sports a 4k output, although some reports say it will keep the 720p resolution - albeit a larger screen for portable play. I mean, does it really matter the resolution when the screen is on-the-go? That is up to you.

I do think the switch looks a bit aged as it stands. Playing Mario on a 4K tv, in 1080p works just fine, but you can start to see its age.

I'd like to see a larger battery, larger screen and a $399 price point. Nintendo knows what its doing, they have the handheld and family gaming markets on lock. Pricing the Switch Light at $199, Switch Classic at $299 and Switch Pro at $399 would just make sense. They are targeting that consumer that wants a bit more out of their console, and I'm willing to bet we will see a lot of used switches at GameStop as people trade theirs in for the Switch Pro.

Another small thing I'd like to seen upgraded, as a competitive gamer, is the screen response time. It's not bad at all, but for those FPS titles, it may make a large enough difference to convince people to buy.

Will you be picking one up?
